Hello, neighbors, this is Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the etrailer Class Three Receiver Hitch on a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So this hitch is a two inch receiver tube opening, and that's gonna allow you to carry whatever accessories you might want, whether it be your bike racks, your cargo carriers, or even a small ball hitch to tow a small trailer. You're also gonna notice the five-eights standard pin hole, and what that's gonna do is allow you to put your accessories in place, and potentially lock them. Now this is not included with the hitch, but we have those at etrailer. Also, this is a plate style safety chain loop which you can see nice, big opening there to allow you to put larger hooks while towing. A few important measurements for you. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee- Video

Hey neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're gonna look at the CURT Class Three Trailer Hitch Receiver, on our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, let's get into it. So as you can see, this has an exposed crosstube, which gives it a kind of a cool, tough look to it. But it is also steel construction and a black powder coat finish, so it's gonna last and be as strong as you need it to be for a long time. So, as you can see this receivers is a two inch by two inch, which is gonna allow you to use a bunch of different accessories with this hitch, whether it be a bike rack, cargo carrier, or a ball hitch to tow a small trailer. Now, something else we'll see is this plate-style safety chain loop. The loop is nice and big that way you can attach larger Clevis-style hooks, or whatever safety chain hook you may use. more

EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Jeep Renegade- Video

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the EcoHitch hidden trailer hitch receiver here on our 2020 Jeep Renegade. So, here's what our trailer hitch receiver looks like installed on the vehicle here. Now, hence the name, it has a hidden design, meaning the cross tube is actually gonna be tucked away behind the rear bumper here, so the only thing we are able to see is the receiver tube opening. And then what we can see here has a nice black-powder-coated finish, which is gonna help it blend in with the underside of the vehicle well. It's also gonna help protect it from rust and corrosion over time. So, adding a trailer hitch here to your Renegade is gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. more

Hey, everybody, how's it going Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver here on a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited. So this is what our trailer hitch looks like installed on our vehicle here. Now, the part we can see, the receiver tube, is going to have a nice matte powder-coated finish, which is going to help it blend in well with the vehicle, and also, do a good job of helping protect the hitch from rust and corrosion being that it is on the outside and the underside of our vehicle. Almost everything else is going to be hidden behind the bumper here, which is going to provide us with a very factory-like finish. So, adding a trailer hitch to your Jeep Wrangler here, it's going to be an excellent option because it's going to make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now, we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to free up some space inside the vehicle for those long road trips, or we just wanted to hit the trails, it would easily be able to attach either a hitch mounted bike rack, or hitch mounted cargo carrier. more

And this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see that this one is tucked up very far underneath the bumper and that's designed for off-roading 'cause you're gonna be climbing a lot of hills, a lot of rocks. A lot of Jeep guys really like to put their Jeep at some extreme angles and we don't want our departure angle to hit the ground. So by minimizing this distance, we can get a greater incline on our Jeep before we have to worry about any contact here at the back. more

Hi there, Jeep owners! Today in your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be takin' a look at and showing you how to install Draw-Tite's Class III 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver. This receiver is gonna be a great option if you want accessories on your jeep as it does have an extended receiver here out the back. You can see it actually sticks out just a little bit past your bumper. This is gonna work with the most accessories on your Jeep due to this, because you have your spare tire, your bumper, there's a lot of potential collisions that can occur when putting accessories in. They do make shorter ones, though. If you're an off-roader, you would wanna choose a shorter one 'cause with this sticking out the back, it does mess with your departure angle, and it could potentially have contact with the ground if you like to go on extreme off-road. more

We're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt trailer hitch receiver here for our 2020 Jeep Wrangler.So this is what our trailer hitch is going to look like installed on our vehicle. As you can see here, it has sort of a hidden design meaning we're not going to see any sort of bulky cross tube hanging below the rear bumper. So if we take a closer look at the actual trailer hitch receiver portion, you'll see it's relatively flush with our rear bumper here. Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2020 Jeep Cherokee- Video

Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. today on our 2020 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Curt class three trailer hitch receiver.Compared to some of the other hitches, the thing I like most about this one is the way it's going to look. For the most part it's going to be completely hidden, the only thing you're going to be able to see is this receiver tube opening. In my opinion, that really helps give us more of a factory look to it. It's going to sit up nice and tight against the bottom of our Jeep, so it's really going to help with ground clearance, really not going to take away from that, and the receiver tube is going to sit kind of just behind our bumper here, so it's going to give us some pretty decent bumper clearance. Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Jeep Compass- Video

Rob: Hey everybody, it's Rob here at Etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the CURT Class three custom-fit trailer hitch receiver on our 2019 Jeep Compass. Now we know everybody wants to look at it and go over some of the features, so we're going to go ahead and do that first, but if you stick around to the end of the video, we're also going to show you how to get it installed so you can have the confidence to do it at home. But we do have our hitch in place, and I think it's a really good looking hitch, mainly because the crosstube's completely hidden, so the only thing we're going to see is the receiver tube sticking out of the bottom of our Jeep, gives it almost a factory OEM type look to it and again not have that big bar hanging down below our Jeep, distracting from the looks. But it is a class three, so it is going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube openings, so we're going to have a really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories that we can mount up.Obviously everybody knows you can tow a trailer with a trailer hitch, put a ball mount in there, hookup really easy but at the same time if we want to hit the trails, go with some friends, the park, something like that, we can take some bikes with us. Or for going on a road trip, we can make some room on the inside of our Compass, move some of that gear to the outside with the cargo carrier, but regardless of how you're going to be using your hitch, all the accessories you're going to use are going to mount to the hitch pinhole here on the side. Our CURT Hitch is going to accept a standard 5-8 pin and clip. more

Best 2020 Jeep Compass Hitch Options- Video

Today, we're going to be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2020 Jeep Compass.Here in the bottom, we have the Draw-Tite. Here on top, we have the Curt. First noticeable difference is going to be how they mount onto the vehicle. This is going to use one hole, or our Draw-Tite is going to use the one hole in the bottom of our frame rail and two on the sides, whereas Curt is going to use two holes in the bottom of the frame rail and two on the sides. Our Draw-Tite is going to be visible off the bottom of the vehicle where Curt is actually going to be hidden, which is going to require some fascia trimming. Our Draw-Tite is going to have a pre-mounted bracket for any wiring accessories, where your CURT's not going to have that.With our Draw-Tite, safety chain loops, you can see we're going to have plate style. more

And here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to be visible, but you can see it kind of goes back at an angle, so it is tucked underneath the bottom of the bumper pretty well, and the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. Now, it is a Class II, so it's going to give us 1.25" x 1.25" receiver tube opening. more
